Will Jesus come again?
According to our inherited traditions, Jesus would come again someday to judge the living and the dead. The dead bodies anywhere in the world will rise and together with the living will appear before the judgment seat of God. That is why most of us are waiting of his coming again since the time he ascended to heaven in first century. Patiently, people who have this belief were waiting for almost 2000 years today.
The proof of how Jesus comes for the second time is found in the book of Acts when he ascended in that day. It is said;
If you will directly analyze the statement; “shall so come in like manner”, it appears that Jesus would come as he was like a man. But if you study this diligently, you will notice that the phrase “shall so come in like manner” is referring to proceeding statement that describes of how he comes, and it says; as ye have seen him go into heaven. Now, what have you seen when Jesus was ascending into heaven? Did you see his flesh and cloths?
The phrase that saying; as ye have seen him go into heaven, is referring to the going into heaven in which the “cloud received him” out of their sight. It is the manner of going into the clouds that no man can see him anymore. The terms cloud in the Bible is just a figure of speech in ancient language. It describes the coming of vengeance with fire in the nation Israel which already prophesied by many prophets in the old times. Jesus mentioned this term also during his trial in the court of Pontius Pilate, he said;
The cloud is the clue of the coming destruction as it is the day of wrath, vengeance, and judgment of Israel. This is the day that Israel will be destroyed in the face of the earth because of their disobedience to God.
Thus, through clouds we can never see him again as he was. It is like the manner of receiving him by a cloud out of their sight and so he will come in the same because in that day they will experience a terrible death with the Roman armies. It is like the city of Sodom and Gomorrah that rained with fire and burned. The same with them, they will receive fire and brimstone from their enemies. And it was happened forty years after Jesus died. The city of Jerusalem was burned through the Jewish and Romans war. Their city became desolate and full of darkness, trouble, distress, wasteness and gloominess. The Bible proves it by a sign as follows:
1. Jesus prophesied; the Herod’s Temple will be destroyed.
And fulfilled by Roman Armies during the war in 70AD, all buildings and the temple was thoroughly demolished even to the ground.
2. Jesus prophesied; when you see Jerusalem surrounded with armies, then this is it.
3. Jesus prophesied; the generation in first century will not pass until it is fulfilled.
This generation is referring to his generation like his audiences, and this generation in that period of time will not passed until all things are fulfilled.
4. Jesus prophesied; there are many disciples that still alive in that day and witness the coming.
So if there are still alive disciples in that day of his coming, then obviously the 70AD wars is the exact great vengeance of God to Israel and the coming of Christ as well.
Anyway, if you won’t believe the fulfillment that Jesus will not come in physical appearing then try also to read these following passages:
Therefore, if you want to see and hug Jesus Christ, do it by faith for Christ now is already in your heart which became the temple of God not made with hands.

The proof of how Jesus comes for the second time is found in the book of Acts when he ascended in that day. It is said;
- Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
If you will directly analyze the statement; “shall so come in like manner”, it appears that Jesus would come as he was like a man. But if you study this diligently, you will notice that the phrase “shall so come in like manner” is referring to proceeding statement that describes of how he comes, and it says; as ye have seen him go into heaven. It describes the coming of vengeance with fire in the nation Israel which already prophesied by many prophets in the old times. Jesus mentioned this term also during his trial in the court of Pontius Pilate, he said;
- Mat 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
The cloud is the clue of the coming destruction as it is the day of wrath, vengeance, and judgment of Israel. This is the day that Israel will be destroyed in the face of the earth because of their disobedience to God.
- Joel 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
- Zephaniah 1:15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
Thus, through clouds we can never see him again as he was. Their city became desolate and full of darkness, trouble, distress, wasteness and gloominess. The Bible proves it by a sign as follows:
1. Jesus prophesied; the Herod’s Temple will be destroyed.
- Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And fulfilled by Roman Armies during the war in 70AD, all buildings and the temple was thoroughly demolished even to the ground.
2. Jesus prophesied; when you see Jerusalem surrounded with armies, then this is it.
- Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
3. Jesus prophesied; the generation in first century will not pass until it is fulfilled.
- Matthew 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
- Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
This generation is referring to his generation like his audiences, and this generation in that period of time will not passed until all things are fulfilled.
4. Jesus prophesied; there are many disciples that still alive in that day and witness the coming.
- Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
So if there are still alive disciples in that day of his coming, then obviously the 70AD wars is the exact great vengeance of God to Israel and the coming of Christ as well.
Anyway, if you won’t believe the fulfillment that Jesus will not come in physical appearing then try also to read these following passages:
- And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:20
- 2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
- Mark 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
- 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth IN YOU? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple YE ARE.
Therefore, if you want to see and hug Jesus Christ, do it by faith for Christ now is already in your heart which became the temple of God not made with hands.
