The Bible assert two prophets that we can affirmed and appointed to manifest the existence and identity of God, they are Moses and John. Moses introduced God to his people by establishing the covenant in Israel at the Mount Sinai, 3,400 years ago. John on the other hand was the one who testified in conveying the impression of God as Jesus Christ in the first century. The covenant that was established in Mount Sinai was the Old Covenant between God and the people of Israel and was written in the Old Testament scriptures. In line, when we talk of covenant, it is a testament or a contract between God and his people. Further, the Scripture consists of two testaments: The Old Testament and The New Testament which is also similar to The Old Covenant and The New Covenant of God. Hence, the Covenant in the Old Testament scriptures was written in a Hebrew tongue while in the New Testament was in Greek.
During the time of Moses, God declared the Law of Commandments as his first covenant to them. The Law was given directly to Moses after he had delivered the people of Israel from the bondage of Egypt and passed to the red sea going forth to the land of Canaan, the territory now of Israel and Palestine. And one of the commandments he gave was his godly role with them; as he was “the Lord thy God, the God of Israel.”
1. The LORD and God of Israel
2. The only God
3. A jealous God
But before it was being brought out openly, God make known clearly to Moses that he has a name and is called Jehovah
The term “God” from the phrase (for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God) in Hebrew text is “ale” means strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty. The Lord also in Hebrew tongue is “yeh-ho-vaw” means self-Existent or eternal. And the JEHOVAH written in Exodus six is the same term with the Lord “yeh-ho-vaw” which also means self-Existent or eternal.
Noticed the name “Jehovah” mentioned has the same meaning with the word “Lord” as Eternal. Therefore; when we say; “god” it is mighty/strength, “God” it is Almighty/Powerful one, and either “Lord” or “JEHOVAH” it is an eternal term.
· god = mighty/strength
· God = Almighty/powerful
· Lord = Eternal
· Jehovah = Eternal
And so when we apply these terms to the phrase “for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God,” it becomes “for I the ETERNAL/JEHOVAH thy ALMIGHTY am a jealous ALMIGHTY.”
Then 1,400 years after, the covenant he established with Moses has ended; as he was the Lord/God/Jehovah of Israel for he is now the Lord and God of all nations and not in Israel alone. And the new covenant (everlasting covenant) was proclaimed and established in the blood of Christ and shed for many.
But before Jesus was, many Prophets of God prophesied the one who will come in Israel.
Prophet Daniel prophesied; a Messiah will come.
Prophet Isaiah prophesied; a Child named Immanuel.
Prophet Micah prophesied; the ruler of Israel would come.
And the Angel of the Lord prophesied; a child named Jesus.
And when Jesus was born, interestingly in the Gospel of Matthew he called Jesus as Christ.
To sum it up, we have the following names of the One that will surely come:
1. The Messiah – is from the Hebrew word “maw-shee'-akh” which means the anointed
2. The Christ - is from the Greek word “khris-tos'” which means the anointed
3. The Prince - which means the ruler in strong definition
4. The Ruler – which means the governor
5. Immanuel - which being interpreted by an angel is, God with us.
6. Jesus - The called Christ in Gospel of Matthew
Now think about it...
When Matthew called Jesus as Christ, it shows that the Messiah prophesied by Daniel was Jesus. The term used in Hebrew and Greek indicates the same meaning. Jesus also named as the Prince of peace, the Ruler and Immanuel (God with us).
Reading the Gospel in the New Testament, as Jesus prophesied that he will die, be buried, and rise again the third day and he ascended in heaven was being fulfilled. Now, when Jesus was in heaven, many years after, the last prophet named John began prophesying the revelation of Jesus Christ who was to come in the last day as the coming of the Son of man in the clouds of heaven.
We can see in here that John bare record of the word of God and of Jesus Christ in the first century. According to his testimony, Jesus Christ was the prince of the kings of the earth. In other words he was the ruler of all kings. Taking short details of who the kings are, they're the people who believed in God.
John’s testimony breaks now the code of the Messiah when Daniel the prophet prophesied that the Messiah will come to restore the nation and will be cut-off, while John said Jesus was that Messiah the Prince who healed people in Israel and died.
John's writing confides, Jesus Christ said unto him and claimed that he is the Almighty, the same God and Lord in the beginning that is to come in the last days.
Furthermore, if we look over during the old times prophecy concerning the Messiah we can also say that the “Lord” spoken by John; which is, and which was, and which is to come was the Lord/ the Jehovah/ the Eternal, the Messiah, the Ruler, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
So now it is very definite that Jesus Christ is the God of Israel who made the first covenant in Mount Sinai. He is also the Jehovah in times of Moses and even before Abraham's existence.
This time the mystery of God completely revealed as the the following:
1. Alpha and Omega
2. the beginning and the ending
3. which is
4. which was
5. which is to come
6. the Almighty
7. The God in the beginning
8. The Almighty in the beginning
9. The Lord
10. The Jehovah
11. The Lord God
12. The Eternal Almighty
13. The Jealous God
14. The Prince
15. The Ruler
16. The Messiah
17. The Emmanuel
18. And the Father of Israel, and of the Son
19. Jesus
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Strong definition of words:
God – Almighty/Powerful
Lord – Eternal
Jehovah – Eternal
Messiah – the anointed
Christ – the anointed

- Exo 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
1. The LORD and God of Israel
2. The only God
3. A jealous God
But before it was being brought out openly, God make known clearly to Moses that he has a name and is called Jehovah
- Exo 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
- Psalms 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
The term “God” from the phrase (for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God) in Hebrew text is “ale” means strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty. - Mark 14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
- Hebrews 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
- Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
- Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
- Hebrews 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things that that of Abel.
But before Jesus was, many Prophets of God prophesied the one who will come in Israel.
Prophet Daniel prophesied; a Messiah will come.
- Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
Prophet Isaiah prophesied; a Child named Immanuel.
- Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Prophet Micah prophesied; the ruler of Israel would come.
- Mic 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
And the Angel of the Lord prophesied; a child named Jesus.
- Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

- Matthew 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
- Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
We can see in here that John bare record of the word of God and of Jesus Christ in the first century. According to his testimony, Jesus Christ was the prince of the kings of the earth. In other words he was the ruler of all kings. Taking short details of who the kings are, they're the people who believed in God.
- Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
John’s testimony breaks now the code of the Messiah when Daniel the prophet prophesied that the Messiah will come to restore the nation and will be cut-off, while John said Jesus was that Messiah the Prince who healed people in Israel and died.
- Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
- Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
John's writing confides, Jesus Christ said unto him and claimed that he is the Almighty, the same God and Lord in the beginning that is to come in the last days.
- Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

So now it is very definite that Jesus Christ is the God of Israel who made the first covenant in Mount Sinai. He is also the Jehovah in times of Moses and even before Abraham's existence.
- “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Joh 8:58”
