It is very interesting to know whether we should confidently follow any teachings today or not by reason that the preacher believed and followed the apostle Paul as well saying; “be followers of me”.
Well, the apostle Paul was right that we need to follow him to be the followers of Christ but in the sense that the hearers today should also follow the teaching of any preachers the way they followed Paul is an awkward concept, because if the preacher is mistaken in their understanding of the words then all of the followers will dump. I trusted Paul and I have confident in his words because Christ chose him but to trust to any elders and teacher's wisdom on how they interpret scriptures is foolishness to me. In fact, as we can see today there are many doctrines that came out and pushing each other into waste. The reason behind is a man is liar but God is true because His word was made perfect purified seven times (Psalms 12:6). It means that our mind is subject to corruption and will not prevail. We can see it in some teachers who claimed they were followers of the apostle Paul and preaching the gospel about Christ; “the preaching of the cross” but yet denying the "gospel of the kingdom". They say we should only preach the cross but set aside the gospel of the kingdom, whereas all of the apostles, messengers, pastors, evangelists, and pastors in first century like Paul at his last breath was still and remained faithful to his task in preaching both the gospel of “THE KINGDOM” and the gospel of “THE LORD JESUS CHRIST” as it is written;
Anyway, concerning the gospel of salvation which is the preaching of the Cross, do you really know the full story about this on how it is related to the kingdom of God?
Perhaps you have thought that all people will be saved from the coming judgment, wrath, and vengeance of the Almighty God through this preaching. Thinking that if anyone will not receive the message will perish to death in the inner core of the earth called "hell or inferno" - which is the end time theory of some scholars; the final doom of the dead in the lake of fire beneath the earth. Wherefore, man should think the unquenchable fire and bream stone in the hell after the body dies according to them.
But what the Bible says about these following terms?
1. Condemnation
2. Judgment
3. Wrath
4. Death
5. Fire
6. Bream stone
7. Hell
Actually, the following terms above exist to let all people know the purpose of the gospel. Probably, without these elements there will be no gospel of salvation. I have a verse that can help us figure out about these things; it is found in the teaching of Jesus himself saying;
Jesus here is addressing the Jewish government who can kill their bodies but are not able to kill their souls. And the one that is able to destroy both the body and soul in hell was the Son of man that brings vengeance. These are the bodies and souls of unbelievers who did not receive the gospel. So, in flaming fire they should suffer in hell and to be specific, they will suffer like what happened in time past; the burning of Sodom and Gomorrha.
In other words, People should believe the gospel of salvation to save their body and soul from the coming wrath and vengeance of God like flaming fire and bream stone in hell. Now, we will elaborate of what this great judgment/vengeance/wrath of God is all about and to what particular generation it is given.
Hell:
Hell in Matthew chapter ten defined as "a valley of Jerusalem, used (figuratively) as a name for the place (or state) of everlasting punishment", So it is a place of destruction, pain, and suffering. This is actually the place of where the body and soul will be destroyed. Taking a little closer, Jesus said; “ the body and soul” will be put here. Literally, if the context of hell in the scriptures is a place located at the inner core of the earth then we need to understand these few passages literally also.
Can you imagine literally:
- How the people bring weapons of war in the hell?
- Their houses are in the way to hell?
- They dig into hell?
- And they climb up to heaven from hell?
I think it is us in this twentieth century who made foolishness here by transforming the term "Hell" basically. Base from the whole story of God’s vengeance and wrath to his people, the terms hell, fire, and bream stone are only figurative message of the coming destruction of their kind. It says; they will experience a terrible death and sufferings in the coming wars as God’s way of judgment. The message in Matthew chapter ten verse twenty eight that says; both soul and body will be destroyed in hell, is about the destruction of Israel in the later days. This is the last day of Israel which the ancient prophets had prophesied;"That day is a day of wrath".
And it was fulfilled in first century. All people who refused to believe Christ, and killed the prophets and saints were perished to hell, forty years after Jesus died. They completely received the vengeance of God through the Jewish and Romans war happened in 70AD. Both of their soul and body had experienced the eternal fire and bream stone, and the city came into madness. But to those who believed and understood the message of Christ were saved because they departed from the city for Christ said;
Like in Sodom and Gomorrah, the city of Israel was then burned.
Witnessed by: Josephus – A Jewish General/Priest
During the siege; Million died.
And hundreds were crucified daily until the woods consumed.
Thousands were captured and slaved
Hundreds had committed suicide
All buildings were thoroughly demolished even to the ground.
And the temple was vanished away.
And this is exactly the type of hell in ancient time as prophesied. Intended for the condemned Jewish people who received the judgment and wrath with fire and bream stone. Remember, Jesus said; "For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled".
Now, are you still expecting hell in the inner core of the earth? or you just missed the prophetic language.

It is very interesting to know whether we should confidently follow any teachings today or not by reason that the preacher believed and followed the apostle Paul as well saying; “be followers of me”.
- 1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Well, the apostle Paul was right that we need to follow him to be the followers of Christ but in the sense that the hearers today should also follow the teaching of any preachers the way they followed Paul is an awkward concept, because if the preacher is mistaken in their understanding of the words then all of the followers will dump. - Act 28:30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, 31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
Anyway, concerning the gospel of salvation which is the preaching of the Cross, do you really know the full story about this on how it is related to the kingdom of God?
- 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
- 2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
- Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
In other words, People should believe the gospel of salvation to save their body and soul from the coming wrath and vengeance of God like flaming fire and bream stone in hell. - Amos 9:2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
