14. When was Jesus born and died?
15. Did Jesus resurrect?
16. Where is he now?
When was Jesus born and died?
Actually, the serious threat of Jesus’ life was started the days before he was born because he was prophesied to be the King of the Jews and so the King Herod during that time was afraid to be replaced in his kingship. In fact, in preparation for Christ coming Herod was inquiring the priests of where will be the place of his birth to kill him as well.
The only verse in the Bible that can gives us clue of his age is when he started preaching in Galilee and was baptized by John the Baptist.
From the age of thirty, as we follow his journey, we can only assume that he died three to four years after in a period of 33-34AD
Did Jesus resurrect?
From the time Jesus died on the cross, after three days and three nights he was resurrected. He already foretold his resurrection to his disciples before and said;
Because it is known to the Priests in Jerusalem also, that he will rise again in the third day, they asked the governor Pontius Pilate to secure Jesus’ body very well thinking that his apostles would steal him away. They thought that Jesus’ resurrection is only a trick.
And Pontius Pilate commanded to watch him over until the third day. So they made the tomb more secure by sealing a great stone at the entrance and assigned a watcher to watch day and night.
But at the end of the third night as it begun to dawn, there was a great earthquake and the angel of the Lord came and rolled the stone that sealed on it. And the watcher of the priests was very afraid and became unconscious.
Actually, the angel that came here did not open the tomb that Jesus may pass outside but he open it to show them that Jesus was already resurrected and he is not there. You can read the full details of how Jesus passed in a closed tomb in this article - http://delbertstudies.weebly.com/8-who-jesus-was---part-5-his-body-figure.html.
Where is he now?
The answer is very simple and it found in the few verses quoted below:
Therefore, Jesus Christ now is in the throne of heaven and sitting at the right hand of God watching us.
Will Jesus come again?

- Matthew 2:4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
The only verse in the Bible that can gives us clue of his age is when he started preaching in Galilee and was baptized by John the Baptist.
- Luk 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,

Did Jesus resurrect?
From the time Jesus died on the cross, after three days and three nights he was resurrected. He already foretold his resurrection to his disciples before and said;
- Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
- Matthew 20:19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
Because it is known to the Priests in Jerusalem also, that he will rise again in the third day, they asked the governor Pontius Pilate to secure Jesus’ body very well thinking that his apostles would steal him away. They thought that Jesus’ resurrection is only a trick.
- Mat 27:62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. 64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
And Pontius Pilate commanded to watch him over until the third day. So they made the tomb more secure by sealing a great stone at the entrance and assigned a watcher to watch day and night.
- Mat 27:65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. 66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
But at the end of the third night as it begun to dawn, there was a great earthquake and the angel of the Lord came and rolled the stone that sealed on it. And the watcher of the priests was very afraid and became unconscious.
- Mat 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: 4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

- Mat 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Where is he now?
The answer is very simple and it found in the few verses quoted below:
- Acts 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
- Acts 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
- Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Therefore, Jesus Christ now is in the throne of heaven and sitting at the right hand of God watching us.
