"The Election"
Yesterday, October 15, 2012, one of my friends asked me to write an article concerning the will of God because she like very much to talk about this. So, I started writing and reviewed what I have learned about God.
Now, here is my view.
We heard so many times this type of query on how to know exactly the will of God in our lives and in the time to come. The people who believe this doctrine have much concern about God to keep their works valuable at all time. I might say, some also are confused about it and have more chances that they were misled away from the truth because of the overwhelming ideas, studies, and beliefs that govern people today. By this reason, the creator provided a seal that the readers may see the uniqueness of his words. You can find this in many of my articles published but to give you an idea, here are few examples to ponder;
1. Muslim claimed that the will of God in this age is given to the new and last prophet of God, Mohammad.
But Jesus said;
2. Mormon also claimed that the will of God is given through him who discovered the other covenant or “the other Testament of Jesus Christ”.
But what Bible says about this?
You see? The words speak, that all prophets are prophesied until John and the Testament of Jesus Christ is eternal – meaning it cannot be changed, added and altered by any means. The words stated are fixed and final statement from God. So if you heard something that there is another gospel of Christ or "The other Testament of Christ" and preaching another story about Him like Mormon, you know it was already written. And if you heard another prophet that exist in the year after John like Mohammad who bring the message that say Jesus was not died, not buried, not resurrected, and is not a God, then you know he was a false one.
What I mean is, the will of God can only found in the Bible every time. So, don’t expect that God will talk to you today in person and in dreams or in another gospel for your sake, as the some did claim. All of his will were written respectively in a book as guide; from Genesis down to the Revelation, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction. And had proven and witnessed by more than forty prophets with miracles and great wonders.
The Bible is the will or plan of God that his people must believe and learn the world he made. God’s will depends on his words alone, what he had spoken is his plan with great purpose independent from man’s acceptance or rejection. The plan is already made and the destiny of his will could only flows through it. In other words, God’s will is not depends on man’s acceptance.
Some say, God gave us freewill in life to live what we want. No He did not, because he don't want you to be dead, In fact he did chastise his people in ancient times when they do by their own.The truth is, our decision is not a freewill given from above but it is exactly the will of man. God gave you his will and you accept it not because you want to but because he chose you. The concept of God's election is like a building, before its construction the plans and perspective should be first complete and approved by the Architect and the owner. And when it is ready for construction the Architect now will hire workers to finish the job. This time many workers are called but only few are chosen.
God did this all the time in Old Testament and New Testament scriptures:
God created and commanded Adam
God chose Noah
God chose Abraham
God chose David
God Chose Mary
God gave John the Baptist
God gave Jesus
God chose the Twelve Apostles
God chose Paul
And God chose many
In other words, He ruled His people according to his will.
To be continued…..

- Mat 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
2. Mormon also claimed that the will of God is given through him who discovered the other covenant or “the other Testament of Jesus Christ”.
But what Bible says about this?
- Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
- 2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

- 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

- For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 22:14
God did this all the time in Old Testament and New Testament scriptures:
God created and commanded Adam
- Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
God chose Noah
- Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
God chose Abraham
- Gen 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
God chose David
- 1Sa 16:12 And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
God Chose Mary
- Luk 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
God gave John the Baptist
- Luk 1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
God gave Jesus
- Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God chose the Twelve Apostles
- Mat 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
God chose Paul
- Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
And God chose many
- 1Th 1:4 Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. 5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
- Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
In other words, He ruled His people according to his will.
